Charity Projects
IWAI Charity Committee
The IWAI Charity Committee actively supports and fundraises for a variety of Organisations local to Izmir through
- Raffles and Charity Drives at the IWAI Dinners, every month the charity collects items donated by members that are then distributed to Charities chosen by the Charity Committee. Examples include schoolbooks for Children, toiletries, breakfast products, dogfood, etc.

- Voluntary Service
The Charity Committee has two teams working together. The Active Committee Group, for those of you that have the time to be active in Meetings and Volunteer activities and the Non Active group for those of you that want to help out wherever they can.
The non active group gets all the information on activities planned, but do not need to respond to emails or information unless they can help out or asked to do so.
The Charity Committee 2009 consists of the following members:
Martina Weber-Lung (secretary),
Tjitske Bakker (deputy for all board members),
Vonnie Crombeen (treasurer) and
Berthy van der Ham-Tuijtel
