Interested in becoming a member of IWAI ?
Membership in the IWAI is open to all international women of Izmir. The IWAI’s mission is to actively support those women who are new to Izmir, assisting them in their transition to a new city through practical advice, friendship and integration into the local and International Community.
Our Association is also committed to fundraising for local charities enabling members to become involved with the local community.
Membership fees
Yearly: 50 YTL (Membership runs January to December)
Joining from July 1st: 35 YTL
How to join
Simply come along to one of our monthly coffee mornings or dinners, please refer to the IWAI Agenda on the home page for dates and times. Venues are voluntarily not published on the website and are communicated via the IWAI Yahoo! Group email.
What you will need to join
2 passport photos (for your IWAI membership card)
the fees (pro-rata if you join after July 1st)
the filled in membership form (download the IWAI membership form ) alternatively bring your passport pictures with you to one of our dinners or coffee mornings and ask one of our board members for the membership form.
N.B. Only complete membership applications will be accepted (i.e 2 passport pictures, duly completed membership form and membership fees will have to de submitted together)
Non-members: If you are living in Izmir, are within traveling distance or just visiting we would be delighted to welcome you to one of our dinners or coffee mornings
